Achievement!!!!
Jan. 3rd, 2006 08:17 pmOur hall is now green. It's a nice green, though. At least it is not the evil orangey pink colour of ming it was previously. One more coat of nice green colour and the orange will be banished for ever! As an added side effect, some form of transperambulation of pseudo cosmic anti matter (or possibly the dark and blood soaked secrets of the Evil and Exalted Order of Interior Decorators) has led to the place looking much larger than it used to. Clearly the inside of the TARDIS is painted willow green.
Next step: the woodwork and windows. Though I suspect me teaching over the next few days may interfere with that a little. And, maybe in a few years (decades?) time, once we get sick of the place and want to move anyway, we may have a house that is fully decorated. Then it is the Forth Bridge effect to deal with (the living room *is* looking a little shabby... :) )
Finally, for the good of the world and stolen from several LJs:
Don't you think Bush is looking a little tired?
