Diabetic appointment on Tuesday... I therefore have 5 out of 10 of my fingers hurting in some way as I attempt to have a coherent profile of blood sugar for them to look at and tell me off for. The other 5 will probably encounter pain sometime over the next few days. So far the profile is not too bad, apart from last night's 19.1 which was scary. Totally my fault, I couldn't stop eating while Sarah was having a lie down. I was also sort of preparing for a night out by loading up with sugar to prevent dancefloor induced hypoglycaemia. Since we didn't in the end go out the lack of activity sort of knackered me...
I also have a deadline for college essays which is monday. I managed to more or less finish one of them yesterday (well, I added a shitload of babble about equal opportunities to the end of an existing essay. I hope no one notices it is mostly made up off the top of my head) and this means I have two left to do. One is on resources and the other is on assessment. I think I can babble a good amount about both of these without needing to look at a text book. Most of the assessment one will be cribbed from the research I did on initial assessment for the first essay... There is currently a debate going on in my head between the lazy bastard who does no work and my professional pride which says that we should *at least* try to make some effort to make this research look different. It will be interesting to see who wins. I have popcorn...
Today we have been to the gym where I was pathetic on an exercise bike, terrible on a treadmill and them faffed about in the sauna for a bit while Sarah was dynamic and muscular in the studio - lifting weights, practising for being a James Bond ninja babe by kicking the air and basically looking sexy in lycra. Then we went to the supermarket where I bought hot chicken drumsticks and a potato masher.
The video is gone and out of the house.
The painting is more or less done, just a few coats and that is all.
Monday and Tuesday most of my students are in exams of some form - Access to Teaching Level 3 science (the one I wrote) is on Monday and the AQA AS biology is on tuesday. If any of you are reading this, good luck!
