Just been watching the X-files movie and noticed a few things...

1) It takes over an hour and a half before there is a dimly lit set with torches! Shocking for an X-files based film, the franchise which was so famous for its torch lit scenes that commentators have opined that the real mystery is where the characters buy their apparently everlasting batteries...

Oh, I am not including the first scene with the flaming torches held by the cleanest looking ice age neanderthals I have ever seen... after all, flaming torches do not count as they give a different atmospheric light and do not require everlasting batteries just endlessly non-comsumable oil which was clearly in plentiful supply in 35K BC (well, ok, its in Texas so plenty of oil is plausible :) )

2) There is a scene missing. After the scene where a major character (Scully)  is frozen in carbonite and before the scene where the young Jedi (Mulder) falls down the ventilation shaft of the Bespin cloud city, there should be a scene where the Jedi duals with the major bad guy (cancer man) and aforementioned villain confides in aforementioned Jedi that he is in fact his father... there is also a piece of continuity error as it is clear that young Jedi Mulder still has both hands in the scene where he falls off the Bespin cloud city... or am I getting my films mixed up again? :)
