I have a new camera!!!!

And it is rather funky. Its also a 'proper' digital camera as opposed to an 'instant' one. Already played with it a little - there are several shots of Eddie looking at the camera strangely already on the memory card - and it is surprisingly easy to use for a 'pro' camera. Though there are lots of buttons and switches that I really need to learn the function of sometime, probably by reading the manual :)

Hoping to use this on our holiday to the Peak's this Easter and various other places we plan to visit.

You lot may be forced to look at endless flikr selections of bad photos from now on... I apologise for this in advance... :)

In other news, we had the Davies around for dinner last night. It was very nice and dinner partyesque with the added complication of trying to find somewhere for Trev and Leslie to stay during Chris and Abi's wedding. All the close hotels were booked but we finally found one with a pool near enough for them. Added complications were created by the phone calls to Redhillian and Ephrael to see if they'd booked anywhere. All ended well with everyone having somewhere to stay.

Venison and Dijonaise sauce was consumed as was much wine and beer. Geekary was done. Breakfast was left over cheesecake. Pub was visited in the afternoon. Fun was had all round.
