Random Fridays

Spent the last few days mostly relaxing and occasionally achieving housework. No, I haven't managed to do the OU stuff (the answer is still forming in my head...) silly thing is if I got this in reallife I would have answered and resolved the issue within minutes of recieving the e-mail. No different to a hundred other situations I have been faced with in real life. Only trouble is that in those situations the only person judging the outcome was the person recieving the advice but here there is a panel of people analysing my response...

However, I have achieved installation of shiny new printer. It is bigger than our old one and has more funcitonality. The main piece of extra functionality is that it actually prints. Its been so long since we have had that function I had forgotten what it was like to be able to do it.

Incidentally, if anyone wants the old one it is up for anyone who wants to take it. It does not print (and looking at the problem is unlikely ever to do so again) but it still a perfectly working scanner.

I also managed to be productive in the round robin project and got a good few pages rattled off and sent on today. However, I do hope I have not made things too complex for the following author to deal with as I had no idea how it will turn out. I've added another twist and I am not sure how to resolve it so I have passed it on... I suspect at some point in the next few weeks it will be passed back to me for another bit to be added so I can see where it has been taken and maybe complicate it more :) All I have to do writing wise now this month is a couple of crits and then all I do after that is my own work.

BBQ this evening was fun though had to leave early because of Eddie being attention seeking. Shame as I was having fun. However, he has made a big improvement on previous visits and I suspect what was working him up there was the smell of cat everywhere.

Now it is definitely bedtime...
