A quick one before breakfast...
Feb. 8th, 2006 08:50 amDemonstrating the sheer power of serendipity.
Tomorrow's lecture topic is 'Populations', looking at the dynamics of population control in ecosystems.
This morning I wake up to hear a report on radio 4 on the alarm clock about an incursion of Chinese Mitten Crabs and their effect on the population of native British crabs.
10 minutes on the internet later and, courtesy of BBC news, I have handouts made up of the article ready to give out to my class tomorrow.
A major achievement and I haven't even eaten breakfast yet! :)
Time to watch Futurama...
